I am planning a holiday sometime in the next few months and I can’t seem to decide where to go.
Can you give me pointers why I should choose a particular city and what are some of its highlights.
My choises thusfar are Vienna and Prague or Budapest. What do you think? I could really use some good suggestions.

We am planning a one week holiday to Austria between 17-24 December this year. Note I have already received some excellent responses to an earlier question regarding what to do - just need to sort the transport out now!
All I need to know now is how do you book train tickets within the Austrian network? We are going to be based in both Salzburg & Vienna, but will need to buy a return to Vienna from Salzburg.
Is it necessary (and cheaper) to buy them in the UK before we go? Or just wait until we arrive in Salzburg?
My only concern is not being able to secure tickets once we are there (not sure what the demand is like), or it may be more economical to purchase beforehand. Thanks

If you come to Vienna alone , its better to take a hotel - because the price-difference is too small.
You can get a good single room in Vienna for about 90 Euros. – The price per person in a double-room is from 60 Euro per person.
If you choose to take an Vacation Flat in Vienna – or Holiday Apartment, the prices are from 60 to
80 Euro , BUT – the big difference is , that you can share the most vacation flats for up to 5 or 6 persons.. – And then it is a better price/performance ratio than in hotel.
Because if you take a vacation flat like here on http://www.govienna.net you can use the flat for
up to 5 Persons , that means the price per person is less than 12 Euro if you count the best price of 59 Euro per night. – Ok you have to pay a one time fee for cleaning , but if you stay – let me say a week – than that should not be a big problem..
Another big saving is , that you can buy your food & drinks in the supermarket -
Now to the “drawback” – YES ! – Ist true – you have to make yourself your breakfast and also
you have to make your bed .. –

I feel miserable. I didn’t sleep well since i came back from our vacation. I have been wondering how someone who is supposed to love me can hit my head so hard on our anniversary vacation in Vienna. I felt my head spin and dazzle. I didn’t think you could have been the kind of husband who would do that. I don’t understand and I am so confused. All I did was gave you 2 euro coins for our 12 euro shuttle bus fare. You had requested I save all coins for the purpose of using the restroom at the airport, which I have never even heard of someone having to pay for at the airport. I showed you I had many, many coins in my hand. A man was standing there waiting for the shuttle as well. When he saw you hit me, his face was shocked. But I was even more shocked, because I know me, and I know you.
George, you are the only person who has ever beat me and hit me. This is NOT the first time. No more! I must stop this from happening to me! I warned you before. You gave me your words. I trusted that you would change. But you don’t live on your words. You lost my trust.
